Unlearning Everyday Racism Membership

Unlearning Everyday Racism Membership

The membership is a community of learners committed to working on racism throughout the year. I provide monthly themes and learning suggestions. So many members have let me know how useful this has been for them and I would love you to be part of it!

Over the last few years the time I have spent with students, in workplaces has been the most rewarding and exciting work I have ever done.

Along the way I’ve been getting DMs, private emails, requests for private meetings after workplace presentations, and private messages from people who have reached out with questions like “is there a way to have more practical action tools?”, “how can I understand and  figure out white privilege?”, “how do I figure out what I might be doing wrong with people of color?”, “how can I be more consistent about my learning?”, “is there a way to go deeper with this content?”, or “how can I stay connected to this community?”

I began to understand that people were looking for an ongoing place to do their own private racism work and someplace to guide their learning throughout the year. Something flexible that responds to the needs of those participating. The more questions I got like this, the more my wheels began turning. I started to see a place where we could…

  • Have practical monthly tools and learning activities for uncovering and unlearning racism
  • Have a structure that will identify where you are on your path and what your next step should be
  • A safe place to privately learn and grow
  • A community of learners who support and care for each other (for those who are ready for group support I offer periodic Zoom get togethers)
  • A place where I can provide personal support with love, encouragement, and compassion for where you are right now and where you want to be.

Hope to see you in the membership!
